I was watching! I frantically called Comcast when I realized our trial was over and we wouldn't be able to watch. Now I get HBO for a whole year and it's only $5 a month. I'm thrilled.
I liked the episode but it seemed like t was just a refresher for what each character has been up to.
I think having read the books is a definite impediment to enjoying the show. I know I would be enjoying it a lot more if I wasn't constantly distracted by things that didn't happen or happened differently.

It's not really bothering me. I like knowing the addition details and backstory, but frankly, there is SO MUCH going on in the books that I only catch the major differencs. Like the missing Reed children.

Yes, she was barely even addressed in the books I think. She definitely didn't have her own plot line, she was just kind of mentioned occasionally in Sansa's.
