I've got two new products I'm using that I think are now Holy Grail products for me. Both are MAC:
-MAC paint pot in "painterly." I love this because I was looking for something to neutralize my eye lids and I couldn't find the right shade of eye shadow. I am LOVING how this goes on and makes my lid look bright (I am a neutral lid + eyeliner kind of girl). I also started wearing it on my lower lid, and it conceals some dark veins better than any concealer I've tried.
-MAC illuminating powder (I think? It is a loose power) in "silver dust." My sister gave this to me and I love it! I use it just for the inner corner of my eyes, and it gives the effect that I was after much better than shadow.
What are your recent Holy Grail products? I have to say I never liked the Maybelline Age Rewind that so many love.
I bought and tried the new CG Lash Blast Clump Crusher based on MM recommendations and it is the bomb dot com.
I love Origins VitaZing under BB cream b/c it takes the grey tinge away and brightens my skin (I wear a "real" Asian BB cream and it is very white, almost grey)
Jane Iredale everything. Blush in "awake", mineral foundation (loose and press powder are both equally nice). I'm really liking my Tarte amazon clay blush in "amused" these days...it gives a nice pop of pink to make me look alive & healthy at work
I'm in search of a good primer...no holy grails yet but Smashbox came very close. Great staying power, but it made me itch
Have you tried the tarte primers? I really like them and they come in a great sample collection for $9.
The new NARS light reflecting setting powder was an impulse buy that has turned into a HG product for me. It controls oil better than anything else I've tried in years, and it makes my pores almost disappear.
hourglass primer (mineral veil) Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation Fresh Soy Cream SPF 20 Origins Plantscription Fresh Soy Cleanser Eyeko liquid eyeliner in black
These are the products I use daily. Everything else varies depending on my mood.
Foundation will most likely change in the summer when I get tan. I usually only use Vitazing on most summer days, but may add in Origins foundation if I have a breakout.
Right now: NARS TM Chanel Bronze Universal Cheek stains: theblam, benefit. Plantscription eye cream (maybe because I got it for free? It's nice though) one love organics skin savor waterless balm (because my skin is suddenly dry???) burberry trench
