So, I made an account yesterday after being a lurker for far too long. I thought I should do a proper introduction.
I live in Michigan, though I'm originally from the Twin Cities. I also graduated with Vinnie Kartheiser from Mad Men, though he was a total D bag and to say he "went" to school is a very generous stretch.
I am married and have an 18 month old son, two dogs and an angora rabbit.
I love hockey, dancing, and serf uprisings. Well, I've never experienced the last one, but I assume I would love them...
The biggest thing I remember about Vinnie... he always seemed greasy. That was back in the day when every boy was sporting the Ethan Hawke Reality Bites hairstyle, but still, his just seemed greasier than most. Once he landed his first big movie, he started coming to school less and less. What's really weird? I was a big artsy/theatre type and he was NEVER involved in any of that. I guess Hollywood was his goal and that's cool, but never once did he take any interest in anything arts related while in school.
In High School, he was mostly just a dickwad. When he did come to school, he acted like the biggest primadonna because he was in 1 fucking movie. He was generally disliked by all.
Hello fellow Michigander! I live the Great Lakes Bay area (Saginaw).
I don't know the person you graduated with but I'm old so I'm not up to date on amything trendy.
What team are you cheering for today? Tigers or Twins?
Welcome
Hi! My husband is from Midland and we were just there for Easter!
I am a diehard MN fan - Twins and Wild all the way, although I have MAD respect for the Red Wings and Tigers franchises. If they're not playing my teams, they get my cheers!
Yay! Here's Orko. He's got a few issues (his previous owners neglected him and dumped him in a cardboard box outside a Petco), but we love him.Attachment Deleted
