With my last pregnancy, the job I was working at was completely casual, I could wear jeans 5 days a week. usiness
With my new job (a contract job at a bank; didn't get the one at the very small publishing company, if you remember that drama), dress code is business casual, so jeans are only allowed on Fridays.
So, what are your favorite places for maternity work clothes?
I found some good basics at Kohl's actually (tank tops I could wear under cardigans or sweaters, simple sweaters, and basic work pants.) I found a lot of dressier tops at Loft (I'd wait for a sale and then swoop in) and Gap had a good selection as well, but I thought their maternity stuff was kind of pricey since it wasn't usually part of their sales. I got a good deal of basics at Old Navy as well - a few dresses, tops, etc. I filled in any gaps from those stores at Motherhood, which I didn't love but I found some okay stuff there.
Yup, this right here. They had a really nice line of basic pants that worked wonders for me. Actually, I pretty much lived in them. Tops I got from other places, but pants? All Motherhood.
I made one huge run to a Motherhood Outlet store. Stocked up and was good for a while. There aren't many, but it killed me to pay the amounts they ask for maternity clothing... as PP's have said it all seems to be really really poorly made.
I love you for these. I figure I will live in dresses this summer while dealing with NYC heat and humidity, and I could always dress the first one up in a cardigan while at work. I might buy these in every color lol.

they have some other cute ones, but those seemed the most work-ish without being dour.
Yay for pregnant people in dresses!
(I actually love dresses - - IMHO, reaching for one item of clothing, and being pretty much done, is )

Oh and some of my favorite pieces I got at JCP of all places?! My mom bought me some and they lasted 3 pregnancies. Their pants fit pretty well (I hated the over-the-belly type), but their dresses were great.
I only did skirts and huge Capri pants things towards the end. If I had to be formal I'd do a maternity top with a cardi or jacket over it (unbuttoned) and then the skirt.
