No, really, I'm actually pretty proud of myself, especially considering my last attempt at cake decorating was Emily's first birthday. I decided kind of last minute to make cupcakes to celebrate Kate's birthday over the weekend since we won't be having her party until the end of the month, and my mom suggested making them Easter-themed, because, duh, which had me scrambling to find something easy on Pinterest before coming across these:
And here's my version (since Kate asked for strawberry cupcakes and doesn't like chocolate frosting), with assistance from my usual two little helpers:
And because the other post is already on the second or third page, here are my girls in their Easter best (PDQ):

Oh my gosh, Kristin!! Your girls are so sweet!!!! I swear I just looked at that picture and imagined them hiding under the covers whispering "sister secrets" to one another and pinky promising to always be best friends. What happiness! (I didn't have a sister but always wished for one.)
Thanks, guys. I'm even more proud of the girls than the cupcakes. (heart)
@booby, you can have the curls and the tears that come with combing them every morning! lol.
At church we sat behind this family with four young girls, all in matching outfits, and the second oldest had these crazy curls, even tighter than Kate's, and I looked at H and said, OMG, that could be us. He did not accept my proposal. lol.
