Is A Year of Wonders slow to start?

I'm only on page 60 or so and it's hard to push through. She is an incredibly talented writer though, but it's a little heavy. Hoping it picks up.

It's been a while since I've read it so I don't remember for sure, but I don't recall thinking it was hard to get into. It never hopped along like, say, The Hunger Games though.

I feel like I'm one of the few who didn't like it, so to me it was slow throughout. The ending also threw me for a loop.
