Our furnace is officially a piece of shit. F-er broke, at least I think so, I figure a loud screaming sounds coming from the furnace means it's broken. It's only going to be in the 30's today. So I have to bundle up the baby, and she's going to be ticked. MIL is bring a space heater and we have the oven on/open now.
H is going to call the landlords - but get this - he never called and told them we had a baby. Yeah - think that will cause an issue?
I wouldn't think the baby thing would matter re Yellin landlord. Unless you signed a no-procreation clause? Baby isn't going to be on the lease anyway. He should mention when he calls that he'd like the heat fixed ASAP esp w a young baby in the house!

The furnace guy has been here, luckily we don't have to pay!
He seems really nice though. I made H stay home from them gym so I wouldn't be alone with a repair guy. Sometimes they're creepy!

Furnace part blowS
Should be fixed within the next hour or two. The IL's brought us a space heater and our house is tiny and we have all doors closed but the room we're in, so we're staying warm!

I don't think you need to let the landlord know you have a baby, unless you are exceeding the amount of people allowed to live in the unit according to the lease?
