The sweet older couple who lives next door to us brought us cupcakes last night. This is the first house we have lived in that we have actually gotten to know a few of the neighbors. Its nice!

Did you all hear about that Louisville basketball player that broke his leg in the game over the weekend? I wasn't watching the game (thank goodness) and purposely avoided watching the replay or look at any of the pictures because stuff like that grosses me out. Someone on my freaking FB posted a picture, and I'm scrolling down minding my own business this morning and BAM!! I can't unsee this guys! Ugh, why don't people think before they do stuff like that?

ETA my randoms:

Dumb vent: I used to be the only woman on the floor in our building, so I
started bringing better soap for the bathroom since we had the
hand-drying industrial pink stuff. Now there are three other women and
they are running through my hand soap like crazy. I put a polite note on
the mirror last week that I pay for the soap and would really
appreciate their bringing some in to use as well. The note was gone the
next day. We ran completely out on Wednesday and I finally broke down
and bought some last night. Why do people have to be jerks about things
like that? Just bring some damn soap!

It is HUMID here today, like swamp land world outside. My hair is fab as you can imagine. Haha!

Sorry discogranny! That is annoying. Is it possible for you to maybe carry your soap in a small thing in your purse, like in a hand sanitizer bottle and pull it out when you need it? That way you don't have to share, but still have your own soap.

It supposed to be almost 70 here today. I can't tell you how excited I am! I'm ready for summer!

What part of Canada do you live in? We went up to Calgary and Banff NP last summer and it was beautiful. Where we live is less than 2 hours from the border of Alberta.

  Yes the prairies are gorgeous in the summer. I love big sky country. Are you in the dakotas?  I live in the Toronto area so our summer are hell - so humid and hot. We literally have a 2 month window each year of nice weather (June and September). Otherwise it is freezing or sticky/hot.  I hate the climate here.

No, I'm in Montana. I love the summers here. So far the winter havent been too brutal. I enjoy the area we're in, but i wont complain when we get a new assignment either

Today is annoyingly busy. Grrr. It wasn't supposed to be.
I'm waiting for my night class to start, and I'm dreading not getting home until 10.

Doesn't the university know I need to be up at 4? They need to adjust their schedule for just me!! Lol

I barely got any sleep last night. Uggh... between insomnia and my daughter waking up in the middle of the night last night sucked.

I'm starving but I have to wait for DH to come home and cook before I can eat. I'm home 3 hours before him but hate to cook so I sit starving like an idiot. I could make myself a snack but that would require moving off the couch so I guess I'll stay hungry for another hour.

DH puts out the trash and recycling around here. On the top of the pile of the recycling bin this morning was all my empty boxes of Menopur. We live in a townhouse, so everyone is in every's business, and the trash goes right out front of our house. No secrets here, lol.

I'm feeling kind of bla about things right now. Not bad, just eh. Like I generally lack interest in most things, and I am just going through the motions.

And, finally, this has been the first cycle in a loooong time that I didn't feel like sex was just a task on the task list. It's been such a nice change of pace that we've kept on having it even thought we're probably outside our window this time around. lol.

Tomorrow is my last day of work until Tuesday! H's birthday is on Friday and the band he lives is in the US and playing close by. So, on Friday, we are going to Chicago for the show. Then we are driving to Fort Wayne to see them on Saturday. Than driving back to Milwaukee on Sunday and going to a Brewers game.

Today is CD1 and I am blah. Crampy, etc. After we had the m/c my grandma told me that maybe my body just needed a reset and would get pregnant on it's own now. That is such BS and this is so dumb, but a small part of me was holding out hope that she was right. Why do we allow ourselves such games?

I have a meeting at 2pm today. It's about 45 min away from my office. I am leaving here at noon and I am heading home afterward even if it's over early. I have bad TV to watch and cake to eat.

Guys I was NICE today to my fil. Cause H asked me to be. I took them to the zoo and we were there for 4 hours. On srping break week. H wants to go to Charleston with them on Friday i might try to get out of it.
