I think the uppers create more head-pressure. The bottoms at least, there isn't anything too bulky underneath them. Uppers, you have sinuses and everything, plus it's harder to avoid chewing on.

She's just such a pill and I say that with love. lol We give her medicine at night to help ease the pain.
