I just made a post about it, but I think I'm getting a stye and it hurts.
My SIL announced her pregnancy yesterday (April Fool's Day) and naturally, everyone thought it was a joke. It wasn't. What a bad day to announce it, though.
A friend announced on her Facebook that her and her husband were divorcing. Everyone was all "Lol!". Turns out, she forgot it was April Fools. Whoops.

Eeeeeeek! If I divorced, I don't think I'd announce it. I think I'd quietly change my relationship status and let people figure shit out on their own.

That's what I did when I ended my long-term relationship. Andplusalso, I first set my privacy to not show relationship on my timeline, so when I changed it, it wouldn't show!
Yes, that's what I meant. I've never changed my relationship status on Facebook but I know it can privately be done because I'm a nosy bitch and I've seen it done after a break-up.
And I didn't mean anything against your friend. Announce it, don't announce it, whatever floats your boat. I've just seen some break-up announcement posts get uncomfortable and I wouldn't want anything to do with if it were me. Glad your friend had some grace about it, though!
I have done absolutely nothing for this baby besides get knocked up in the first place. I'm kind of freaking out.
Yeah, same. I need to buy a dresser, buy some clothes, decorate the nursery, and wash everything. I just have no motivation to do any of it. I'm glad I have a few left over neutral clothes from when Sofia was a newborn.
