Specifically I was looking at Coastal.com. The prices seem to good to be true...
I recently bought a new pair from LensCrafters but even though they helped me pick out a pair they are way too big now tat I've had a coupe days to wear them, apparently I have a very small head.
I ordered from just eyewear.com. They have great costumer service. I fell asleep with my glasses on and Daisy ate them. I called and told them i needed to reorder and explained what happened. They replaced them for free.

I just ordered some Rx sunglasses from zenni, and they're fine. Next I plan to get a free pair from Coastal. My friend ordered some from them and has been pleased.
If you'd like to try them on first, you can order some from warbyparker.com. They're a little pricier, but they'll send you five that you pick out. You decide the one that you want and send them all back, and then they'll send you the glass with the rx.

Okay ::optician hopping on her soap box::
If you want a really good fit go to a private owned optometry office or optical shop. Online is great but having someone who does this every day to help you find something that is going to fit and then is going to be able to adjust them when you go to pick them up is priceless.
If I was going to buy online I'd buy through Eyeconic they are through VSP and are really great to deal with. They actually send the glasses to your doctor's office and you can pick them up there. Great service for you and your eyecare provider. Here is the website, www.eyeconic.com/Home/

I used both Zenni and Coastal. Coastal had a better method where you could upload a picture of yourself and "try on" glasses. Having good measurements from an eye doctor was key (or use your current glasses...the measurements should be stamped on the inside).
I got 2 pairs of glasses from Coastal that I get compliments on all the time. I think I spent $60 for both? One was a cheap-o which I'm wearing right now, the other was a name brand pair which is my normal pair (I'm blanking on the brand).
I got a pair of prescription sunglasses from Zenni that I'm not thrilled with, but that's my fault for picking a lame style. For the price and effectiveness, they work fine. I'm still on the hunt for stylish prescription sunglasses.
I've used Tortoise and Blonde. They can send you up to I think 5 pairs to test out for $2. I think I spent under $100 on mine.
A friend of mine got hers from coastal. I think they were around $25 and looked like cjoy's. They're very cute, and as far as I know she has no complaints!
