1. I saw the dermatologist - who was not a nice woman. She basically told me that there is nothing she can do if I am TTC. She recommended after being done with birthing and nursing that I basically go on hormonal birth control for the rest of my life. I don't love the advice since I don't like how I feel on hormonal birth control. At the end she did say that she could prescribe one thing that is safe during pregnancy and that it probably won't work. "Don't call me if it doesn't work" to quote her. I have the prescription, but with her lack of confidence, haven't shelled out the $$ for it yet. Maybe I should just give it a chance after all...
2. I visited the Origins counter several times. The end result is that I ended up with some all natural skin cleansing products that I really like and have been decreasing my acne. Also, my skin is not dry and flaky, which it usually is when I use these types of things. So I think I will keep using those products.
3. Also at the Origins counter I got some foundation and then went back for a concealer. Together they still do not cover my acne well enough - even when "building coverage". When I am done applying my makeup in the morning you can still see my acne - it's just not blaring red. So I would love some tips for where to go next on this point. I do like how light it is though and that a little goes a long way.
4. I've also started changing my pillow case every night because I have noticed that I breakout where my face is mostly on the pillow. Maybe a bit much, but at least if I do it every night I remember to do it.
5. I think I am going to make an appointment with a nutritionist to see if there is anything I can do on that front to help my acne issue.
I think that's it. Any suggestions or feedback is greatly appreciated and thanks again for all of your help!
Re: #5, have you tried keeping a food journal and figuring out if any foods are causing/contributing to your breakouts? When I cut dairy, my skin improved nearly overnight.

That derm sounds miserable. I'd definitely find another when you're ready for other treatment options. Opinions on using benzoyl peroxide when pregnant are mixed, but I'd be totally comfortable using it while TTC and discontinuing when you get a BFP. So you could try that as an OTC option.
I'm in the same unfortunate cycle with makeup and acne. My derm recommended using loose mineral powder foundation instead of the pressed powder foundation I've been using. She also said I could try liquid and see how it affects my skin.
