He loves it, has been practicing with DH since he was about two and could hold the stick....I have to say I am a little nervous with a bunch of 4 and 5 year olds weilding sticks at each other.
Also last night my daughter was getting her clipboard ready (DH is a coack and she is going to be his helper) and I asked if she was excited for Friday she goes:
"mom, its Reid out there (waves arms about) with a stick and a bunch of other kids....this is not going to end well"
Nice...that is comforting coming from my 7 year old.
So cute! I had a discussion a long time ago with DH about how our future kids will not play soccer and play lacrosse. He didn't get it since kids didn't really play lacrosse where he grew up but both my sister and I started at 6. And girls don't even get the pads the boys do - I only got a finger broken once.

I know right I can't believe girls don't get the pads!! You should see my little skinny kid in all his pads and helmet he can barely keep his head up. DH is a lacrosse freak and played in college etc so yeah the two of them are all pumped up.
My daughter is seriously laughing at the whole thing she can't wait to see it.
