Any other crocheters out there? I did it for years, but haven't much in the last year or two, just been really busy with wedding planning, moving, change of job, etc.
I am now getting back to it (actually sitting here working on a clutch right now) and LOVING being able to do it, but I need some inspiration of fun patterns to try!
So... What are your favourite projects that you've done? Bonus points if you include pictures

The last big project I did was for a friend. She was planning her wedding outdoors in Oct and wanted a shawl to wear with her dress, in her wedding colour.

Here's my sorely neglected rav page- you should really join, it's very inspiring. I much prefer to knit most of the time since I've learned how- it's really not any more difficult than crochet, and the two crafts go so well together. I make mostly baby and kid things, because I have little time and even less patience and concentration these days. :-p

Brittm, That shawl is beautiful!
I also crochet, making a Hobbes doll at the moment. I'll PIP when I finish this dudes face. He and I are having issues at the moment. LOL That's what I get for winging it.
I've actually never heard of it! I will have to check it out!
You MUST get on Ravelry if you're a yarn crafter. Zillions of patterns, reviews (of yarn, patterns, books, etc.), project queue, gallery of your finished projects with ability to note yarns/hooks/needles used, etc. It's a fantastic site.
This is really so true. My username is different on Ravelry, but feel free to search me (cmm71710). I crochet quite a bit and most of the projects I've made I loved.

Ditto Ravelry! Find me too! (I'm liz09 on Ravelry)
I do both crochet and knitting. I started with crochet, and then switched to knitting (I used youtube videos to learn) I've nearly switched completely to knitting because I generally like the finished product better. But I still crochet if I love the pattern.
I'm working on a tradition granny square afghan now and it is slow going, my squares turned out smaller than I estimated! I probably should have gone around each square a few more times but I was being stubborn.
I really enjoy crocheting, though it's been getting neglected for knitting lately. I'm may16 on Ravelry.
I've never been able to figure out the knitting thing, its TOTALLY over my head! As soon as there is more than one stitch going on I get all confused... and don't even TRY to add in a third needle! hahaha My aunt tried for all of maybe 10 min to show me what she was doing and I was beyond lost!
