I want to change up some of my products, mostly to make makeup application super quick. I usually put my makeup on during my train ride in the mornings. I also work out at lunch, so I have to reapply mad fast before I rush back to work.
Up first: tinted moisturizer/foundation.
Back when I put my makeup on in my own bathroom, I usually used Aveda tinted moisturizer. I have largely abandoned liquid foundation/TM.
Has anybody tried the LM Tinted Moisturizer Creme Compact? Anything else you would suggest? I have pale skin but almost no blemishes, so I gravitate toward light coverage products. I know I need to drag myself back to Sephora to get some samples.
Whatever you use, don't try the bare minerals compact foundation. I just bought it this weekend and hate it.
Really? I love it, but it is harder to apply. I get the best results using a stipple technique into the compact and then lightly sweeping it on. I also had to buy a shade darker than normal. You can also use a stipple technique to apply it, but that gives heavier coverage than I need. A little goes a looong way.

It is not so much the application as it is how it wears. After about 5 or 6 hours, it looks very chalky and streaky. I don't know how to describe it. The weird thing is that I really love the formula of the powder bare minerals and find that it wears well.

They warned me at the store if I applied it too thick it would look chalky after a while. It's also why they had me go up a shade because it doesn't match the other formulas. I use it with the Two Faced primer.

No. Makeup will have to wait. I just dropped a bunch of money on dresses for warmer weather. My Midwest wardrobe isn't ready for a mid Atlantic summer. And I CAN deal with the makeup I have. I can deal with just about anything because I have pretty great skin. I just don't WANT to. Ah well.
