Bachelorette party invite = wedding invite?

A girl I work with is getting married in May. I'm not invited to her wedding, but I just got an invite to her bachelorette party.

Is this weird or is it just me?

I don't dislike her, but we aren't close. We both got our masters at the same time, so we had quite a few classes together.

I don't really want to go. I won't know most of the people there, minus my coworkers, and I'm especially hesitant with people I work with. I don't need any drunk pics with a dildo on FB, haha.

I wouldn't go. Gifts are the norm in b-parties in my circle, plus it's the norm for all the guests to split the cost of the bride's dinner, drinks, whatever. No way would I give a gift plus chip in for her if she can't even invite me to her wedding.

I invited people to my bachelorette party who weren't invited to my wedding. Well, technically my friend did since she threw the party. I had a really small destination wedding and lots of people weren't invited. No one gave me presents, though. And I didn't have a bridal shower. THAT would have been tacky!
