When I first started crossfitting I used it usually twice a workout. I realized after a while I was actually just using it as an excuse for a short break, and I just started to stop and take a few deep breaths. After about 3 months I stopped using it regularly.
But it sounds like you have regular asthma too, @crackhabit?
Yeah, I have asthma all around that needs a control inhaler daily, but exercise is a big trigger for worse symptoms.
Have you tried any of the other daily meds like singulair or advair?
I was on those for a while, and I'm sure my doctor would still like me to be, but it seems like my asthma has improved as I've gotten older. I still have issues with changes of seasons - but now living in San Diego I get to deal with that a lot less.
