I've posted before about his current situation. He was living with his girlfriend. He came home drunk and screaming on Saturday and she made him get out. His house is in the process of being foreclosed and I think he went back there. There is no electricity or furniture. It's just an empty house.
I texted him on Monday and let him know my door is always open if he needs a place to stay. He never responded.

I haven't tried to contact him since. At this point I feel like there is not much I can do. I am going to call his best friend tomorrow to fill him in and see if he can get him to either come to my house or go to rehab. I am hesitant to allow him in my house in this state with DD here though. He will have to understand there will be no alcohol, and I'm sure once I say that, he won't come.

I'm so sorry! My dad has been homeless for awhile now, and I know how sad, shocking, and embarassing it was in the beginning (and sometimes still is). I hope your father gets the help he needs soon. I
How difficult. Could it be he is there but can't charge his phone without electricity?
He should be able to charge it at work. He is the manager of a retail store. I don't understand why he doesn't stay in his office. I mean he opens the store, so it's not like people would notice. For some reason he is in denial that his home is no longer his.
