Have you noticed a LOT more ads lately? And also it goes to "are you listening" a lot more quickly (and in the middle of songs) now too. 

Am I just going to have to bite the bullet and finally cave in on pandora one?

Actually.. Kind of.

Sometimes it seems like there is an ad after every 3 songs.  And there is always an ad when I skip.

But at other times (like when I listen at certain times) I will only get 2 ads in like, 30 minutes.

It's weird.

This is what has been happening to me, too.

Except on my spanish stations, which hardly ever play commercials.

Yes now that you mention it. The ads are MUCH more frequent. I need to cave and get the upgraded version anyway because 6 skips a day is just.not.enough.

Computer usually, but you're right - when I'm on my phone it IS much less frequent.

Also I have been bitching about that "are you listening?" Thing for months but I haven't noticed it more lately or anything. And never in the middle of songs, that's weird!

I would bite the bullet and get it - I'm in year two on mine and love it. DH uses it too and logs in at his work while I log in at my work desk. I also built a showtunes station for the kids.

Does it cut down on the need to push the I'm Still Listening button?

I think I've seen that maybe twice in the last year, and I have it running for hours on end usually.

I haven't noticed any more ads. But I listen mostly from the app. I am easily annoyed by that "are you still listening" crap.

6 skips a day??  I get 5 skips an hour.  Then I just change stations.. 

It lets me change the station and it SAYS it is 5 or 6 an hour but I test this all the time and it is a LIE! At least for me. WTH.

The ads drive me nuts. It is $3/month. Worth it. It's a good service.

We play it around the house. Usually I have a station playing in the living room and the kid will have her station playing in her room. If we play it through the Blu-Ray or Roku player, no ads, no "Are you still listening." If we play it through the app or computer, I get an ad every 10ish minutes unless I skip a song. I've never had it stop mid-ad or skip a song, but DH swears it happens to him on the app all the time.

I never had the are you listening pop up before until the other day in the middle of a run. It pissed me off.

I think since I cancelled Sirius, I'm going to upgrade Pandora. I've never gotten the are you listening thing, but I get ads every two or three songs and it makes me crazy.

I had to stop listening at work because I listen to Christian music but the ads were for Adam & Eve. The ads were not the video clips but I couldn't have some chick in skimpy red lingerie popping up on my monitor.

I think someone at Pandora has a sense of humor becuase the Adam & Eve ads only popped up on the Christian stations, lol.
