so this morning i woke up so hungry that i almost passed out. i grabbed a piece of cheese, and when that didn't help and i started seeing black, i grabbed a banana and sat down. h demanded i pick up something else and knows my weakness lately is mcdonald's pancakes, so i did.
now, i'm at work barfing my brains out. today isn't my day.
i'm really trying to stay positive and hope that babies cooperate today. please send any extra vibes you have my way. boy and girl vibes specifically would be awesome. haha, i'll be happy, as long as my babies are healthy.
vibes for at least one girl in there. i want two girls for you, so i'm hoping for two...but since you don't, i'll just send vibes for one girl, and the other can do whatever s/he wants
I've had a few "episodes" of nearly passing out. My mw said it's normal and as long as it's not an ongoing problem, not to worry (but rest, drink water, have a snack). If you feel that way again you might consider having some juice, which will get sugar in your system faster (then follow with protein and complex carbohydrates). Maybe a snack before bed would help? Hopefully it doesn't happen again, though! Good luck today at your u/s!!!

Have you had your iron levels checked? I became slightly anemic when pregnant and before I was on iron pills I'd have bouts like that. Hope you feel better!

doctor said that juice isn't allowed.
Passing out isn't allowed, either. It's best not to drink it regularly, but 4-6 oz when you feel like that (if it's blood sugar/hunger related) will reverse it quickly. Example: People with diabetes shouldn't drink juice, but when their blood sugar is low and they're feeling lightheaded, talking weird, etc., it's a medically-appropriate response. Your situation isn't as severe, but the same applies. I mean, if you are concerned, talk to your dr. about the juice before drinking it, but my (informed-but-not-professional) opinion is that a rare, small glass of juice drunk medicinally is better than passing out.
Are your dr.s worried about GD for you? I know they want you to not gain much weight, but their recommendations seem to lean toward a GD diet. Did you have your A1C tested? Do you know what your result was?
i drink a glass of oj probably 5x's a week. since i don't drink milk for bjl, i use supplemented OJ as my alternative..... i sometimes do other milks, but oj is more refreshing.
