If you sign up for a full prime membership (or already have one), you get some discounts now.

Also check out zulily if you haven't already. It's like gilt group for baby/child/motherhood stuff.

h and i are thinking about paying for prime after we utilize all of our addresses for amazon-mom. we still have 2 more addresses (our new one, and IL's) that we can sign up for amazon mom with. so in 6 months, we will have to start paying! my dad's amazon-mom account expires in a few days.

and yes, i love looking at zulilly, the prices are good! but the shipping is not, so it always adds up to be more than i want to pay....i've never actually bought anything from there.

also, zulilly has some really cheap stuff. and sometimes you think something is cming, and like a month later you'll get an email saying sorry, it isn't coming, here is a refund.

In all seriousness, I've heard Zulily is not a great employer. Pay is not especially competitive, and the environment is somewhat stressful. Plus, you have to be surrounded by pictures of all those tacky clothes.
(A friend and I have an ongoing competition to find the ugliest thing on Zulily's front page each day. Some things are just horrific.)

Ha! It's never been because the kid is ugly. It's just the clothes. Some are just hideous, sorry. Like when they were selling lace onesies. I think my friend's caption was, "I didn't know Zulily was selling baby stripper clothes!"
