I'm going to lose my mind. Why does someone have to be touching me every second of the day? I have three boys who want to be on me all of the time. Yes, I'm grateful to have these sweet boys...but for the love. STOP TOUCHING ME. They don't even leave me alone in the bathroom. Help.

Frckls- I do that when the baby is sleeping, but when he's awake I'm always afraid he is going to choke on a Lego or something when left alone with his brothers.
I read a statistic one time that said that the average adult is touched like 2.5 times a day, but the average mother is touched over 100 times a day (or something of the sort). Apparently this is why moms aren't giving it up to their husband every night. NO MORE TOUCHING!
The boys have kind of just started this (as if infants don't touch you enough anyway, lol). They like to touch one of us sometimes while playing, and they'll stand and hug my leg when I am trying to leave in the morning. Not in a hysterical way, just in a "one last touch!" way which is sweet/endearing/irritating, lol.
See, that sounds cute. But, it's not happening to me. lol
They will also come into the bathroom (b/c I pee with the door open when alone with them, small apartment) and they like to stand holding onto my knees *while* I'm peeing. It's super awkward, lol.
I mean they're adorable, I'm just saying, I am getting what must be a fraction of what you guys with older kids get and it's irritating. So oh man! the future.
That's hilarious. Didn't Cleo tell a story about her daughter catching the water running off her pubes in the shower with a cup? I about died at that one.
I can't help, but I feel your pain. Between a four year old and a newborn, there's pretty much always someone in my lap, on my boob, etc. DH tried to rub my back and I had to tell him that it was a nice gesture, but OMFG I can't take one more person touching me right now.
Yes! My daughter follows me into the bathroom and pets my bare leg while I'm peeing.
i had to put my foot down when his favorite game became wadding up toilet paper and throwing it into the toilet between my legs with me sitting there. lol
I remember reading about being "touched out", and when I just had DD1, I was like, huh, this is NBD.
Then I had DD2 and it was like I became a jungle gym. It was bad when DD2 was an infant, but it's even worse now with a toddler and preschooler. If I sit on the couch, they climb on my shoulders. If I sit in a chair, they want to be on my lap. Clinging to my legs, grabbing my hands, snatching at my ankles while I'm walking up the stairs.
