What can I do for DS' eye?

He has a dry patch under his eye and it looks like the skin separated/split. He says it's ouchie and it looks red, but not openly bleeding. What is safe for the delicate eye area? I may need to consult my pedi but for tonight any bright ideas?

I've had that happen and put antibiotic cream on it.

My first instinct is neosporin, but I'd probably call the pedi to be safe.

Polysporin makes a cream just for eyes.

I had a horrible eyebrow wax once and my dermatologist told me to do plain Vaseline instead of neosporin. His reasoning is that it has the least amount of ingredients. I put a thin layer on DDs lashes at night in the spring to help get the allergy goop out in the morning, I think Vaseline would be safest for tonight until you get in touch with his pedi.
