I bought a new face cleanser bc I ran out of my usual AcneFree. I went to Target bc it was on my way home and my grocery store does not carry it - I usually order from drugstore.com. So I looked for anything with benzoyl peroxide, and there were 2 Clean & Clear options. I took the one with the higher concentration of bp, bc I thought AcneFree was 10%.
So I use it this morning and go through my usual routine. I get out of the shower and my face is awful sunburned red. Like the worst sunburn on my face in my life red. I fished my AcneFree bottle out of the trash - it is 2.5% bp.
I didn't take a picture of the before but I think I managed to cover it up ok, though I used a LOT of product.
No, AcneFree is 2.5%. The Clean & Clear I bought was 10%. I thought because the AcneFree works so well on my face, which basically only responds to Benzoyl Peroxide, it must be whatever was the highest concentration available, meaning 10%.

Yow, that sounds unpleasant! I'm sure the store will take it back with a receipt. My sister uses a 10% wash, I don't understand how all her skin isn't peeling off.
