I used to have the worst pain on weekends because of overeating at restaurants (even eating 1/2 the portion is too much!) and choosing rich foods (hello pizza and pasta). I've done really well since surgery but today I'm indulging. I'm really hoping it works out - so far I've had very manageable symptoms (and everything seems to be tied to fiber, not fat...)
Pre-workout snack: cheese stick B: 2 eggs, crumbled blue cheese L: 1/2 boiled potato topped w/ TJ's chive and cilantro yogurt S:homemade GF muffin (no butter or white sugar - made w/ almond flour and grapeseed oil) D: GOING OUT FOR STEAK! I'm going to try a small broiled sirloin and caesar side salad - caramel ice cream sundae (no nuts) for dessert.
I've done ok w/ romaine sprinkled on top of things but the salad on its own, steak, and ice cream are new. I know it's a bad idea to try so many things at once but if we're going out for a $$$ dinner I don't want to get a plain baked potato and the same plain grilled chicken I eat 10x a week.
