So I need to loose some weight and M would like to loose with me. We really want to get healthy and let's face it I want my body back (if this is even possible).
We are thinking weight watchers. Has anyone done this and any other suggestions? We have never dieted before.
The ones where we have to order the foods are out as I am too picky of an eater.

I went on WW in 2009 to lose weight before TTC. In about 2 years I lost 85 lbs. I still track my food and exercise (I'm on maintenance mode, though I have gained some of the weight back thanks to TTC stress, IVF, pregnancy, miscarriage, depression and, well, life).
Every system has its flaws, but I do think WW is the best commercial weight loss program out there. You have control over what you eat and how much, provided you stay within your points range. And you can do meetings if you want, but you can also just do it online.
And you get a TON of points if you're BFing. I'll definitely be back to the weight loss program after I have a baby.

It sounds like a great thing for both of us as we have vastly different weight loss goals. since it is online now, something we can fit into our day where actual meetings would be really hard.
WW is great. I do urge you to really focus on the "Power Foods" - fruit, vegetables, protein. You get more bang for your point buck and will end up eating much healthier. My mom has been going to WW for years, kinda following it most of the time, and finally made goal and Lifetime after cutting out almost all of the processed carbs and sugar in her diet. I am trying to emulate her but it's hard :-D
MyFitnessPal is also great, if you are already pretty familiar with healthy food and cooking and don't need a lot of help in that area. You can track on your phone (so easy) and it helps you determine a calorie goal based on your current weight and how fast you want to lose. It tracks nutrients and you can change the nutrient goals online (for instance I have mine set to 40/30/30 carbs/fat/protein). I am much more apt to keep up with MFP b/c I don't have to worry about calculating points, the food database is huge, and I have several friends who also track on there and it's motivating to see their healthy food habits!
I second MFP, it has been a great tool for me. I also adjusted my nutrient goals to 40c/30p/30f like Elsa but have them that high because I am weightlifting and need the extra nutrients to recover.
I eat clean 90% of the time now and it's helping me drop fat inches pretty quickly. Eating clean is a loose term for eating foods with 3 ingredients or less, I tend to stick with 1 ingredient foods and combine them to up my nutrition, ex: turkey burgers made with lean ground turkey, minced onion, minced mushrooms, spices, maybe an eggwhite, each component is/has 1 ingredient but can be combined to make a fantastic burger. The 10% not clean is for cheat meals (1-2 a week using correct portions) and not clean things I add to otherwise clean meals. It's a very easy diet to follow, basically if it came from a plant or animal and doesn't have a bunch of ingredients you can't pronounce, it's good, anything else isn't clean.
