Where to buy an iphone

I know this has been posted numerous times on TN, but I don't feel like trying to navigate the site to find the posts. I got an iphone nearly a year ago, but DH said he didn't want a smartphone and would stick with his old phone. Surprise, surprise. DH wants an iphone now because his current phone is having charging issues. We're not eligible for any kind of break on one through Verizon and I just cannot stomach paying $650 for one.

Where can we get one for less $$? DH would like a 16GB but would be happy with either the 4 or 4S. Thanks!

target had $50 off earlier this week. and iphones very rarely go on sale anywhere. you can always do the shady ebay route.

Buy a refurbished one? If it were my DH, he'd be waiting til upgrade time! $650 is way too much for a phone!

Thanks. I will look into a refurbished one, but it didn't look like there were any online through Verizon. I'll keep checking though and also go to our local store to see if they have anything.

While you may not eligible for the new every two discount ( or whatever they cal it now) you should still be able to get the discounted price (200 ish) by resigning a two year contract.

HBomb, you're the bombdiggity! DH was eligible for an upgrade, so we resigned another 2 year contract and got him an iphone 4S for $199. Woohoo! Thanks!!
