I have decided that I will be getting a tummy tuck. After 3 large pregnancies over the course of 11 years, I will never have a normal looking tummy with exercise and diet alone. I went in for a consultation a couple years ago before we had Evelyn and the surgeon sounded very confident I would have good results. At the time I had a 2inch gap between my abdominal wall muscles, which he would staple back together. I would need a full TT due to the amount of skin that would need to be removed and even after the procedure I would still have stretchmarks, but they would be below my belly button (which is a saggy hole right now). I have wanted one for years. I'm doing this for me! Call me selfish or shallow, but I just am ready to have it gone. I'm going to be saving for the funds (OMG they are so expensive!) over the course of the next couple years because I do not want to go into debt over this. Most likely this will happen when Evelyn is 3 and easier to take care of. I am prepared mentally for all the pain and healing I have to go through for this, but it's time. I know the end result won't be perfect, but I would totally trade in a huge scar from hip to hip to not have to deal with the sagging skin anymore.
It's not happening anytime soon, but I finally made it official that I'm going to do it. I'm done with having kids. My husband knows and understands how I feel. He would rather not have us spend the money on it, but he says if it's important to me, than it's important to him. I'm tired of covering up and working so hard at hiding my tummy sag, I've always been embarrassed and self-conscious about it.
Good for you! My grandma once told me that she can't judge anyone for having cosmetic work done because she had braces, which was done to improve her appearance, and what's the difference?

My aunt just had a mini tummy tuck about a year ago. It was kind of the dame situation...one single and one twin pregnancy. She's really lost a lot of weight and is very fit now. That saggy skin was driving her insane. My Nana had a tummy tuck, face lift and her arms did about 10 years ago. I think if it will make you feel better about yourself you should do it. I secretly want a boob job after I'm done having kids. A tummy tuck would be nice too.
Good for you! When DH and I agreed to have a second, I made him promise me that if, after 2 years of trying on my own, I couldn't get rid of the extra/saggy skin that I could get a tummy tuck. I am down to my PP weight and size, and work out a LOT, but that damn skin drives me CRAZY. Looks like I will be able to make good on that promise (I really would love a boob job, but no way in Hell would DH ever be OK with that. Sad face)

Your gma is cute lol. I am nervous because a tummy tuck is a huge major surgery and many things can go wrong. I don't want to leave my kids without a mommy. One thing I have to take into consideration. It scares me, I'm not going to lie. I worry something major will go wrong and I might die. On the other hand, surgeries are performed every day and the risks of complication is low. It's a huge decision, but I'm going to do it. I'm at a point where I'm ready and willing to go through what I have to. If I could exercise this tummy away I would do it, but after years of trying there hasn't been an improvement. The more weight I lose, the worse the sag gets. It depresses me more than I express. I don't need to convince anyone why I would do this. I'm just so happy to have it be part of my plans, even if it's a long term goal. I would never do this with Evelyn being so young. Buying a house comes first, which is our plan for this year.

I'm probably going to have breast implants too! I haven't fully decided. I have D's right now, but it's the shape, I could use some lifting in that department lol. I'm only going under the knife once. My surgery quote is for mini lipo in the hips too, since that's an area I'm not happy with as well. I'm going for it all!
Good for you! I'd love one after I'm done popping out babies! And after all those twins- you deserve it!
Two sets of twins in two years, and a 10lb baby 8 years later.....yes please! I look ok when I'm standing, but once I sit the skin has nowhere to go.....just turns into a blob of skin like a front fannypack. I can actually grab my skin and mold it into a ball. The left side sags more than the right, so it's not even symmetrical!!!!

My boobs are a nice size (C cup) but I also have issues with them sagging.
No judgement here, I fully plan on getting one after I am done having kids as well. I'm also planning on a lift. I have plenty of boob material to work with, but I would like them a little smaller and a lot perkier. Once we are done paying my student loans I am going to start saving for the procedures.
