if you're pregnant, did you/do you already have names picked out for a boy and a girl before you knew gender?

We're kind of SS. We had the girl's name picked out. We had a boy name that we liked a lot but I kept looking for something I liked better. At this point I'm basically done looking, but maybe the Baby Name Wizard book will have something we both like better. I really doubt it though.

um. i have no idea. i usually read every single post. ever.

this must've been that week i was in class? bc i never fully caught up with everything then, and then the board imploded, so i never bothered to catch up. i'm usually really good (aka lame) about catching up on all posts, so that's my conclusion. i was in class mid/end of march.

um. no. i'm never gone for more than a week! so the posts are never "hella old". i just can't stand seeing a "new" icon. makes me feel like i'm missing out. even if it's a topic i'm not into..i have to click it just to get rid of it.

I think I only posted on the main board. So if you are not just not posting but not reading there, it might have gotten missed.

Even if I did post here it was right at the transition to having an @sub board so there was more other stuff than usual.

niq and sarack, i updated my links, so it goes straight here...so unless my history made me pop back to the main board (once or twice), i skimmed the titles, but haven't done any reading, so it probably wasn't at the right time. i kinda want to blame pregnancy hormones on the implosion, but i also can't give up what i stand for lol. i still believe everything i said during that time, but i do think it got out of hand.

SS  We have a lists of boy and girl names (lists we both like, lists of ideas that one of us really likes and lists of names we like but can't use), and we plan to have a list of b/g names ready and well choose what fits best when we meet the baby.  If we don't make any changes to the list we currently have, we'd be happy choosing from them, but neither of us feels like our name search is done yet.

we were team green so we had pick our top 3 names for a boy and a girl...then ranked them. We went with our #1 pick and still love it.

I do this, too.  There are a few names that keep going on/off the list.  We're fickle.  At least it's fun (and since we don't plan to name till s/he is here, no pressure).
