Good morning!
Poor BJL! jennlin, are you supplementing with anything else, pumping... how are you dealing with your lower milk supply?
One day until I can reasonably POAS and see if I'm KTFU. I gotta say, I'm on the fence. I may POAS today anyway, just in case... and yes, I'll be prepared for a BFN. I'm okay with that. I have pee sticks at home in case AF doesn't show when it's supposed to.
Less than a month until we're in Hawaii! Yay! But we need to go shopping, like, badly. I need springtime clothes, M needs a bathing suit...
Good morning! I am currently waiting for the carpet company to arrive. Apparently the people here before us left their cat's litter box in the front closet, and it STILL smells like cat pee in there! Thankfully they didn't argue at all when I requested that they completely redo the carpet in there. As it is now, we can't put anything in there, or else it will soak up that smell. Nasty!!
I am just counting down the days until my a/s appointment now. Nothing much more exciting going on. Oh, except H and I talked last night about post-baby plans, and I think he will be taking a better/higher position, and I will most likely be staying home. I am happy and sad about that, but it is all still in the talking stages still.

we are doing almond milk and soy milk. she liked almond milk with no problem...but soy milk...i'm not sure. we started it for the first time yesterday, and she was REALLY fussy yesterday...don't know if it's the soy, or the molars (she's got 4!!). she's eaten soy/tofu before with no problems, so i don't *think* it'd be the soy...but she was pretty bad yesterday. almost as bad as when i eat cow's milk. we switched back to almond milk today, and will for a few days, and will try soy again in a few days to see what happens.

I would just stick with almond milk. Most soy is GM at this point and there are a lot of studies out there showing that the volume of soy that's been churned into our diets the past 10-15 years isn't good for us in these quantities. Plus, isn't there also something in soy that is chemically close to estrogen and they think that there are problems associated with it? (Not proven yet as far as I know). I'd just stick with the almond milk, or maybe rice milk (but its sweeter).

hope everyone has a great day!
Oh my gosh, I love Kelli!! Best cake lady ever and so nice.
I'm doing my kegels, pretty much only way I remember them is by looking on here lol
Working on cleaning and getting things done today. H was a shit last night so I am not looking forward to him coming home later

yeah, i'm hesitant with the soy....the soy i bought is "guaranteed not GMO", so i was okay with that...and the "amount" of soy for the iso-estrogen (? i think..late for a meeting, not googling), i'm not toooo worried about, bc she's still on about 80% breastmilk, 20% supplement.
the dr preferred soy over coconut/almond/rice bc he said it's more fattening, and ultimately, that's what they're looking for in milk, period. he's not too worried about the estrogen thing, so as long as i use it in moderation, i'm okay with it.

edit: woohoo this is my 1000 post! lol
i love kelli too! maybe i'm wrong...but i thought you lived like a bajillion miles away from the rest of us....did you use kelli for your wedding too?
Yep, I used her for my wedding too I believe my cake is still the main picture on her website even. It was a bit of a commute but we got married in Sumner so not as far down as we live now.
Yes, just tested, BFN. I'm only 9DPO, though, so I didn't have high hopes anyway.
oh boo. test again tomorrow.
i don't know how many DPO i was, but according to my dating u/s, i was approx 3w3d when i got my very very faint bfp.
I was at 3w4d (10-11 dpo), and got a (faint) bfp in the evening. Totally reasonable (f you have cheap tests)!
jennlin, have you looked at hazelnut milk? I remember it tasting rich, so maybe it's "fattening" as well? You could also add coconut milk (the canned stuff) to coconut milk (the drinking stuff) or almond milk if you want to make it richer, but keep the soy down.
I started massage therapy last week for headaches and had my second massage this morning. It's not as relaxing as a usual massage, but i feel good (then sore, then good) after, and i think it's already helping -- only one mild headache last week, and i usually have two pretty bad ones. Then i went to the bookstore and bought a bunch of pregnancy/delivery books and one for dh, either for father's day (preemptive, i know), or just because. Then a "quick trip" to costco for toilet paper and FSTG chips (aka cart full of $130 worth of food and TP) and now i'm home and have all my normal stuff to do.
