Currently on or off the wagon? Always on What plan (if any) are you following? Starving What exercise are you getting? Usual (I'm very active) Any results? Lost 2 more 2lbs
Unfortunately I celebrated my loss with several days of unbridled eating.
I've been on WW since January. I'm hella frustrated because I've also been regularly working out for three weeks (tomorrow) and I'm not losing any bloomin' weight. My workouts started burning about 300 calories per session but I'm up to 450-500 calories per 30 minutes now.
My love handles are shrinking and I've lost 2.5" in each thigh. But my clothes don't feel like they fit any differently and it's frustrating. I've been watching sugar and carb intake and eating 1200-1300ish calories a day. A few below, a couple above but never more than 1700 in one day, which is still lower than my TDEE.
I kinda want to cry. I feel like I'm putting all this work and effort in and I'm not making a dent in my fitness or weight loss goals. My stamina has greatly improved but I want that dumb scale needle to start going backwards.
This doesn't seem like enough at all! Especially if you're working out.
crackhabit - I know this is going to sound bizarre, but check to make sure you're actually eating enough calories. Sometimes weight loss can hit a plateau because one isn't eating enough calories to burn more. Sounds weird, I know. I've follow beachbody workout programs and a lot of their coaches have said the same thing. I personally have had a hard time believing this. Although, I've seen it help me some. I'm starting to think there may be some truth to it.
Also, you may be very well building muscle right now.
My Update: Doing P90x at night and have been incorporating my morning Elliptical/HIIT Cardio in the mornings. Except this week, I've been having to put off the additional morning cardio to work on some stuff for the house. Everything should be done today so I should be able to resume tomorrow. Seeing muscle tone return and pants fitting better. Overall, I'm looking to lose a little more.
@crackhabit , when I've plateaued in the past, oddly enough, I've found taking a day or two off from the diet food and just eating what I want (I mean, not being a crazy piggy, but having a little fun) really helps.
I just joined WW last night. A couple days ago, someone posted a pic of me on FB that wasn't posed and I didn't like how I looked. I've been meaning to do something, but stuff kept getting in the way. I gained 5 lbs at Christmas and have put on another 5 this year. Before I put on the extra weight, I've been 10 lbs heavier than I want for a long while. So I'm doing something about it. I guess people might call me silly for joining WW when I look ok, but I'm not happy. So far, I LOVE how fun WW online is. I joined last night at like 11 pm and entered in everything I had eaten that day, and I used up my day's entire points AND like 15 points from the week - wow, hello, no wonder I've put on pounds. I love that pounds are only mentioned in one place, and only if you go looking for it, and that calories aren't anywhere. It feels like a fun little game to see if I can eat below my quota. (Note: I'm easily amused. I still find FF charting fun and I've been doing it for six months and we're TTA right now.)

Currently on or off the wagon? On, though recently discouraged due to a plateau What plan (if any) are you following? I am using MyFitnessPal for calorie tracking, set to lose 1lb a week and eating back my exercise calories. What exercise are you getting? For exercise I just completed c25k and attend a hot yoga class once a week. i will continue to run 3 times a week. Any results? Yep! Since mid January I am down 12 lbs which is more than half of my goal. Though I think 3 more lbs lost will get me to a place where I will settle into a maintenance mode for calories.
Another WW girl here! I'm down 14.2 lbs since Jan.2...only 3 more lbs until my goal!I'm also working out 6 mornings a week. I only have 30 minutes but I'm making the most of it with Jillian Michaels DVDs and doing the C25K program. Can't wait to FINALLY fit back in to my pre-preg summer clothes (my kid is going to be 4!).

I am on-and-off the wagon. I set a schedule to do Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday at Jazzercise (yes, I signed up for Jazzercise) and I adjusted to Monday-Thursday this week and didn't go yesterday because I just had way too much crap going on. And my diet has been horrendous because I don't have time to make myself lunch or go buy something healthy. Plus, since Baby W is teething and not feeling well, I get little sleep and need caffeine to survive, so I have been drinking way too many empty calories.
I am going to start Monday again, Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday at Jazzercise and Monday-Wednesday-Friday doing something at home.
I've lost 3 lbs. Doesn't sound like much, but it's 20% of my 15 lb goal. Plus I haven't been able to continue running since my gallbladder started exploding and got really painful. I just had it removed yesterday (thank goodness), so as soon as I'm recovered from my surgery, I'm going to start running again.
I've been using a food diary app on my phone and cutting out my afternoon snacking at work. I put on so much weight after starting a desk job! I started being very good about eating breakfast and choosing healthier lunches and snacks. Having to enter stuff into my food diary has been a good incentive to not go crazy at lunch.
So I am doing a cleanse this weekend - I am not a dr oz fan but a friend said that she has never had more energy after doing his 3 day cleanse so I am doing that. It's basically tons of veggies and fruit in smoothies all day long, and green tea. After the weekend I hope that this will give me the boost I need to stop craving sugar all the time and give my body a reset.
