Had first sonogram today. 1 baby!!! Strong heartbeat. Measuring just as I suspected. Due date remains the same. Yup this ish is getting real!
Yay!!! Congrats!!
Mia is trying to walk, she stands for a long time without holding on to anything and will take one or two steps before going down. Birthday party planning is almost done...just need to pick up the paper goods and stuff for goodie bags for the few kids that will be there. I can't believe she is almost one, eek! Oh, and she had Roseola, poor baby...rash is almost gone today.

I hit 37 weeks yesterday and things are progressing like they should. I have already dilated more than I had with Triston when my water broke- so I am praying for good progression over the next few weeks. I have slowly started swelling now that the weather is getting warmer, but this is nothing compared to the edema I had with Triston. I also think the time of year I am pregnant really makes a difference.
Triston got a cold last week and has been pretty snotty. I hope he gets better before Owen makes his appearance. I would hate for him to not be able to come up to the hospital to see his little brother or have to be quarantined once Owen comes home. Triston is starting to understand there is a baby coming. He likes to lift my shirt and say baby.
Sara- So glad to hear about lo #2. I've been thinking about you and Kathy.

Lauren- you're getting so close now! Glad things are progressing well for you. I wasn't sure for a while how much Maisy has really understood that I'm going to have a baby, but like Triston, I believe lately she gets it. I guess we'll see soon enough if she actually does
Sara- yay for your first sonogram!
I'm feeling alright. More than anything I am just wiped out. It's crazy how worn out and short of breath I can get just doing usual everyday things. And while each day seems to be a surprise of which combination of third trimester ailments I'll have, none of them are too terrible i guess. I am glad to be reaching the end though.

Our PG list is so short now, glad there are 2 new names on it though!!!
Things here are good! D is crawling like a maniac, pulling up on everything and starting to cruise. He will walk with a push toy too so thats fun. He says mama all day long, dada once in a while and no no no, while shaking his finger. Too funny! He can clap and do so big! This is such a fun age! On the bad side, he has his top teeth coming in so he has been miserable with that. Last week he had a fever for 3 days but the tooth is poking through now. I think the other side is going to quickly make its appearance though.
I started planning his bday party. It will be a cowboy theme at our clubhouse. I'm trying to figure out baby entertainment, lol! We will probably start TTC again later this year too. We originally planned on July but now we have a trip planned with DH's best friend and his wife for our anniversary in Oct so now I kinda want to wait until after that!
I am completely terrified to have 2 kids by myself. I have been with H, my mom, or my sister 99% of the time, or alone with just Jack. The few short hours I have been by myself have been insane. He nurses pretty much the whole time he is awake, and then some. I haven't slept in a month. Zoe was sleeping much longer by this point. I realize we were really spoiled with her, but wow. I am exhausted. My sister leaves on Tuesday and I am already freaking out.
I am going to order a woven wrap right now, actually, so I can wear him. He loves to be held (such a cuddly baby!) and I can nurse him and not starve to death/can entertain Zoe/cook dinner, etc with the wrap.
Zoe is so freaking adorable with Jack it makes my heart melt. She is so attentive to him when he cries.
