I lurked over there but I was too intimidated to post. It seemed like everyone had a plan and knew exactly what was causing their infertility. Somehow I felt like I didn't belong because I was unexplained and my plans change from cycle to cycle. They seemed like nice women though.

I found TTTC to be a little too rules based for me. They tend to be very by the book, alarmist about some TTC things. Don't dare mention you are late based on OPKs alone or something, you will get told that you don't know when you ovulated because you don't chart. That being said, having more than one TTC outlet is never a bad idea.
I liked IF on TB but that tends to be more of the girls doing IVF. It was nice to have a big group of girls cycling with me during that whole ordeal.
I lurked on the TTTC and the IF boards I first got diagnosed and learned a lot. However, they rarely stray from TTC topics, so it became overwhelming and somewhat depressing. I rarely go over there since this board was created.
I rarely posted because I never felt I got the rules that discogranny mentioned.

I post on the IF board. The tttc one is for IUIs and the IF one for ivf. Like discogranny said, it is nice to have people cycling at the same time and I have learned a lot. I am not "emotionally" attached to those girls though like I am with you guys. (heart) but I haven't been posting on there that much, just the check ins and the odd question.
I used to post on GP on TN, but I don't much anymore. I lurk on IF because so many of them are doing IVF and I have learned a lot there. I always forget about the TTTC board so I never check it. I just feel the most comfortable here.
I posted there a little a few months back before this board got really active. There are some smart women over there, and I appreciate their insight. That said, the mentality over there is very much like it is on MMM - the women on TB are ssoooo much smarter than your doctor, if your doctor gives you advice/suggestions/treatment plan different than what TB ladies think is "right" you're going to get told how dumb it is and why you need to do A, B, and C instead, etc.
Plus, I can't get it up for things like "Ticker Warning!" and so many rules. lol.

This. When we first started TTC, I was on the boards alot, and also when pregnant. But for some reason, the TTTC boards over there upset me more than this one.
I will go over there to search for discussion threads sometimes if I have a particular question.
No, I'm having enough trouble keeping up with GBCN lately Work has been too busy, boo!
Don't you hate when work interrupts your internet time. I have had to cut back on visiting some of my regular sites because work expects me to complete files by June. Like I have time for that
