i don't want "stuff", i just want a card or something from h that tells me he appreciates me for what i do, and a "thank you". and him cooking dinner or something would be nice.

You can get a good Father's Day gift if you give her a good Mother's Day one month prior

I don't want "things" also, but last year H gave me a card that was "from" our dogs. I'm sort of wondering if he'll do the same this year and also sign the baby's name.... That would be cute/funny. Other than that I wouldn't think I would get anything as I am not quite a mom yet.

I bet (and would be happy with) dh will probably do something small and sweet. Maybe breakfast in bed and pick some flowers from the yard. He's pretty good about cards, too.
Next year, probably a massage. I always want a massage.

I didn't want anything for Mother's Day last year. This year? I kind of want something cheesy involving E's foot and hand prints.

since i'm not technically a mother yet, we'll start next year? i have no idea. probably to have the house clean and meals cooked for me. maybe laundry done.

I want the same thing I usually ask for, not to have to cook dinner or clean up from it and to sleep in.
