1) I love books. I love books more than any one other thing in my life. I love reading. I would rather read than sleep sometimes.
2) I know lots of trivia. Did you know that spa is commonly considered an acronym? Well, it's actually not. Look it up. In the Bible story of Joseph the Dreamer, what was the Pharoh's wife's name? She didn't have one. She was only referrred to as Pharoh's wife.
3) My friends and I have a G+ circle. It's called Nerds. When we all go out to dinner, we call ahead and that's the name we register under: Nerds.
4) I find grocery stores soothing, except for Wal-mart. When I feel super stressed, I go to one and I just walk around. I act like I am shopping, but I am really not.
I also love to read, I've realized that it's probably my only real hobby which I think is dorky. I spend my lunch breaks sitting in my car, eating and reading. And I love it!!!!!!!!!
When I'm home alone I like to sing, loudly, to my dog - changing the lyrics of the song to incorporate her name or be about her. I am not a good singer, but it makes her wag her tail and jump on her hind legs - so I think she likes it. Sometimes I include the neighbors dogs names into the song, if it feels appropriate.

Since it is so hot in our office building, I have been eating outside in the parking lot - our office is on top of our parking, making it covered parking, for the most part. I set out at the "smoker's table" and watch the rain, read, and just decompress for a few minutes. I guess that's not so dorky...IDK, maybe watching the rain is kind of dorky.
Me to H "what makes me dorky?" H "nothing babe!" Me " no no, dorky in a good way" H "oh I don't know" H "I've got it. You know what makes you dorky? Those websites that you go on" I look over at his iPad and he's chatting on some sort of Sprint forum.
