I'm a naturally cold person. But since starting Femara, I'm having mini hot flashes. They don't last long, only a few minutes. But this is new for me. lol

That's weird. I didn't experience that but I got really bad headaches with femara and also my eye started twiching which was really irritating. It went away as soon as I stopped taking it though.
When I took the lower dose of Clomid, I had no side effects. When my dose doubled, I definitely got the hot flashes and headaches. Mine weren't really hot flashes, as much as I felt like I was just running warmer. I'm also a naturally cold-feeling person, so I think it's a nice side effect.
And, a little TMI. It's also caused extreme constipation. I normally a super regular girl, but I've had to take a handful of fiber pills daily, and it's still not great.
The joys of IF. Maybe we'll all just be better prepared for pregnancy.
Those hot flashes are no joke! I had them way worse on Clomid - so be glad you started on femara I had headaches on femara too. The funny thing too is I'm off ovulation meds and still get a hot flash from time to time. Not as bad. When I used to get them the second I felt my face flush I would turn the fan on at my desk and stick my head right at it. My coworkers think I'm crazy - I had them during the winter and was always hot!
linz I am so glad I am on femara instead of clomid! And the hot flash is exactly how you described. All of a sudden I feel my face flush and I get really warm for a few minutes. Usually if I roll my sleeves up or take my jacket off for a few minutes I'm good. Nothing too extreme. Its just out of the norm for me to feel that warm without external factors (like being under a heating blanket or out in warm weather)
