Wow, that is a lot to take in Mofo. Sorry to hear that you have to go through the additonal testing, that really sucks.
The first time I had cd 3 ultrasound I was horrified about taking out my tampon and the ultrasound room becoming a murder scene. I guess they are used to it.
I think it is probably a good thing that you are taking a break to go on vacation and letting yourself absorb all this before the surgery. Did the RE say that IUI is not an option for sure?
I'm sorry the news wasn't all positive. Its really frustrating to feel like your body is broken. When I came out of my first few appts, I had mixed feelings. It was nice to know what was going on inside me, but it sucked finding out what issues we were facing. But all in all, its nice to be able to make a plan with my doctor and feel like were moving forward, even if its at a snails pace.
Allow yourself to feel upset. Its normal. Just don't let your self to feel too defeated. You might have some hurdles along the way, but your not down and out for good yet.
Also I have some cyst issues (not PCOS though). I'm very familiar with the vaginal u/s machine. I have had more than I can count one hand. That may be a common thing at your visits. But I'd rather than than the HSG every time.
*hugs* Enjoy that vacation and try not to think about anything else!
Geez that is overwhelming. Hopefully you'll be able to come up with a good plan for moving forward. I have PCOS without any symptoms as well. My gyno actually said she didn't think I had it, but my RE says I do and put me on metformin.
I responded on ML, but ugh I'm so sorry. That is very overwhelming and so f-ing unfair. Enjoy your vaca, you deserve it! I hope you get lots of answers in the next few months.
What an overwhelming appointment. Definitely take time to take it all in. Don't give the internal U/S a second thought, they are so used to it. I go in every cycle on CD3 and it's not pretty. The nurse just puts down some extra paper sheets and gets back to business. No one but me seems to think it's gross.
I'm so sorry about all of the bad news. I am a little jealous of your trip to Europe! I hope that you can take time to enjoy yourself and have a great time on vaca, it sounds like you need it.

Ugh, I'm sorry...that sounds like a lot to process.
Can I just say that I'm glad you mentioned the tampon thing, though? I have an appointment tomorrow, and will probably start my period before then, and I'm glad to hear that they're used to dealing with that...that among many details was stressing me out.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
I'm so sorry you're going through this. I was so anxious and overwhelmed when I found out I needed surgery, but I got through it and it went well. The whole thing is so overwhelming. Take it one day at a time nd hopefully you can enjoy your trip and it will be a good escape.

I've been trying to post but PB is being a jackass. So, pretend I wrote something really great here. I'm sorry your experience was not good. Hugs to you.
hugs. i'm sorry you got mixed news again. i hope you guys get a good plan in place soon.
also, is the EKG really necessary? of course your BP is high, you're stressed and getting stressful news! that seems like overkill to me. don't worry about it too much.
