Petition to ban the protests at the Marathon funerals

Dynamoo, I don't mean you any disrespect, but how do you ban entire people from a city? I just don't see what use signing this petition will do.

I take a just don't look* approach to Westboro. Their only desire is for attention, they're not actually out to change anyone's minds. They're like children throwing a tantrum.

It's not that they don't disgust me, because they absolutely do. But petitions and protests and screaming at them only give them exactly what they want.

Same here. No disrespect and I totally understand the sentiment behind the petition, but it is free speech and a petition isn't going to ban them. Our efforts would be better spent elsewhere I think. Such as blocking thier view of the funeral (I think firefighters did this during one protest though I can't remember for sure).

I agree with elfin. I think they blocked funeral was one of the Newtown kids' funerals actually.
