Hi ladies,

Just wanted to come in and say hi and see how you all are doing. You were all so super supportive while I was still in this camp, so I just wanted to come in and say hi. If this is painful for anyone, please let me know and I'll remove the post.

I just passed thee 12 weeks, had an ultrasound again yesterday and everything still looks very good. My crappy kidneys that were likely mostly responsible for my body not cooperating all that time are actually responding very well to the pregnancy. My kidney function has actually improved - who would've thought that?! Another thing they were very worried about was my blood pressure either fluctuating too much or getting insanely high, but that too has remained good. Only thing that's "wrong" is some anemia, but that's due to me producing blood too slowly, and not due to lack of iron/b12/folic acid and is, for now, completely safe.

Another thing that might be "fun" to tell you is that I'm part of this program called mothers for mothers, where pregnant women actually collect their urine during weeks 6-16 of their pregnancy. The HCG is then extracted from there and used to create drugs for people with IF issues. Seeing as I came from this board, there was no way I would pass up the opportunity to help others. In NL the brandname of the drug is "Pregnyl", but it's basically pure HCG. I feel blessed to be able to help people this way. (The urine I collect per week is enough for one full cycle of IF treatment for 2 women.)

Anyways, I hope you're all doing okay/making progress/finding stuff out/supporting each other.

Not sure about finding out the sex, we still have a few weeks to decide.
And I did keep low key on here for a while because I wasn't telling anyone about the pregnancy yet, but definitely no GBCGBCN. You on here were basically the only.ones who knew.

I'm on my way to.the.office now, and will be telling them today.
