oh yeah dur. vinegar is also on my "go-to" list of cleaners.
have you guys ever used baking soda to wash your hair? it makes its suuuuuuper soft. i do every so often..not every day bc i feel like it dries it out if i do it too much, but it strips of all the oils/buildup very well. i do it about once a month or so.

I used to have super oily hair, but now i wash it once a week (every 6-7 days, usually; more if i swim, etc.) and even then it's not oily; i just wash it b/c longer than a week seems weird to me (random, yes). I have only tried baking soda once; i didn't like the application method (getting good coverage w/o using too much) and didn't bother to experiment further.

What did you do to make it so you have to wash it less. I can literally barely go 1 1/2 days without washing my hair.. so frustrating. I should add I don't use product in my hair other than shampoo.

It's taken a while, but if you put forth a concerted effort, i bet it wouldn't take so long. I went from washing daily (a pain b/c i also had long hair that dries slowly) to washing it daily/every other day, then every other day (last lasted a long time b/c it seemed "good enough"). A couple years ago i basically got lazy and didn't always wash it every other day, but sometimes every 3 days, and over the span of the past two years i've extended it the same way (sometimes waiting a day longer than usual, to usually waiting a day longer, to always waiting a day longer). I got to 4 days and stayed there for a long time. Then recently thought i'd see how long it can go and got to a week. When i shower i wear a shower cap b/c if it gets wet it gets frizzy and if i rinse with water it gets weird quicker (sort greasy, but not exactly).
