Oh, I have a vent

Yeah so one of my best friends from college announced that she is pregnant with her 3rd. Probably doesn't sound like a big deal, but she already has 2 kids (with ex-H) that she can't afford and now she's having one with her BF. WTF man! I mean, I know life's not fair and all that garbage but I've worked hard to be in a position where I could afford kids, I've done the whole school thing, the whole get a good job thing, blah blah blah. My friend dropped out of college, has had major debt issues ever since, and really in general just doesn't really have it together. 

She texted me this morning asking me to call her when I get a chance, I told her I'm traveling for work but I'd try to catch up one night and then tonight I see her announcement on FB, so I assume that's why she wants to talk. I don't even know what to say to her.

Thanks guys. I feel like a brat venting about this but it just really pissed me off when I heard it, so I needed to get it out.

I called DH to tell him and he said "maybe she wants to ask you if you want to adopt the baby"

I didn't know if I should laugh or cry.

I think I like your H, honey. Sounds like something mine would say. Love that they still have a sense (sometimes twisted) of humor and try to make us laugh. I often have that should I laugh/cry/punch you reaction.
