I'm on night 3 of a work trip and I'm really looking forward to going home tomorrow. The week itself has gone by fairly fast but I feel like I've been gone forever.
I'm pretty bored and I kind of wish I had stopped by a liquor store earlier but I'm in my pjs now and not going anywhere.
Hey, Honey. Where did you travel to? Pretty boring night over here. H has a big project due tomorrow so he's going to be at school until really late, I wouldn't be surprised if it's 3-4 am. I'm just mindlessly wandering the internet and feel like buying something to distract myself. I was planning on making a baked (microwaved) potato for dinner but just realized we're out of butter. Crap.
I want to buy a new pocketbook but can't pull the trigger, can't seem to find one I love, just ones I'm "meh" about. I'm using my birthday money to buy it...and my birthday was in Sept

Nothing too exciting. A friend is throwing a bachelorette party this weekend so I went over there and had a beer and we made Jell-O shots with a penis mold! I am so ready for the weekend! I also can't wait until my Thursday night show is new again...I still love Grey's Anatomy!
Honey, I don't even know! lol. I was on Sephora for a while. I really don't need anything. Maybe I'll look for some nude sandals. I ordered what I thought was the perfect pair from Gap the other week and I just got notice that it's out of stock. Boo.

What brand/style pocketbook are you looking at?
I've been looking at totes, particularly something with a rectangular-ish shape, but that's about all I know. I am trying to keep the price to the $150-$175 range and it seems like most ones i like are a little more than that. I'm not partial to a certain brand or anything, I never spend this much on a pocketbook.
Honey, you should watch them! I was never into HP until a few months ago when my H and I decided to start weekly Harry Potter date night and rent them on Netflix. Now I understand the hype, they really are awesome movies!
It is a lot of fun, but it will totally suck you in. I got H addicted, but it works because he plays on my account and helps me bead difficult levels. You should totally try it!

Wow Gumby, an 8 min mile is awesome! I haven't been to the gym in over two weeks. I think I might try to get back tomorrow.
Thanks! My goal has been to get it to 9 min/mi. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw my average was 8:17 tonight! Woohoo Training is slowly paying off!
Gumby, do you race in like 5 or 10ks or marathons? I'm not a runner at all but I am finally able to run a little but I have to do it in intervals of running/walking. My dream is to do the Disney Princess 1/2 some day. I don't care about my time as long as I can just finish it!

I do races, but I'm by no means competition for the other runners. lol I started running last year and I've done a bunch of races, but 1/2 marathon is the farthest I've done. After I did my 10k I swore I'd never go farther, then when I finished my 1/2 I swore I'd never go farther. I'm currently signed up to do my first marathon this fall. I'm so excited and terrified all at the same time.
I would love to do one of the Disney races eventually! If we ever live closer to FL or CA. And you are a runner, even if you do a walk/run combo. Everyone starts somewhere. I hadnt run in years, and my first run was so rusty and slow I barely did a mile. You totally are a runner!
We just finished eating a late dinner, now we are lazing around. We're watching Say Yes to the Dress... I love this show! It makes me want to get married all over again
I was off work today, so I got to sleep in, then spent most of the day cleaning and doing laundry. Not very exciting, but I love having a clean house! Best feeling ever!
trace (or any other Sephora lovers) Are you a Beauty Insider with Sephora? They are having a 15% off sale until 4/22, the code is CHIC.

I am a Beauty Insider and did not know this. Thank you! I never get emails but do get the birthday gift coupon in the mail and I used my account in store just the other week. Hmmm, I'm wondering if I opted out of emails at some point or something. I need to look into that.
Thanks, G22. I know I can do but it usually takes some time to pysch myself up for it. H finally convinced me to buy proper running shoes last year. Before that, I swore I could not run, like even for a single minute. But I started to do the interval thing to work my way up. I once even did about 10 straight minutes and could not believe my eyes. Ok, this is really making me want to get back to working out tomorrow!

What marathon are you doing?
The Air Force Marathon. My H did it last year and somehow convinced me to do it this year. Plus it means flying home and seeing family since its held by my hometown, so that is a huge plus too. Overall I really am looking forward to it. I just know how tired I was when I finished a half, and I can't fathom how I'll double that. lol I know my body can do it, its the mental stuff I have to work on.
I started out at low mileage and doing fun races. That really helped me want to keep going. My first race was a 5 mile one I did with my dogs. It was fun to train with the pups and I had a blast! Now I keep signing up for races because it keep me motivated to run and I like the Tshirt and bling
KaraOrNot - scratch that, I beat the final level. Well, that's not exactly true because there are more levels if you play on the computer, but I hit the max on the app. There are 250 levels.
