Now we are the proud owners of a banana tree. She said we needed to keep the bananas off the counter or ants will come in.

Lets not forget the egg tray she got us last month. Someone needs to find her a hobby or my kitchen is going to be full of random gadgets. TBH, I kind of like both of them. Lol

I have always wanted a banana tree, but I'm cheap. Maybe a should invite your GMIL for a visit. My kitchen could use a makeover.

It was $12.99! I was cringing! Want to know the best part? She has not seen my current kitchen. She has no clue what it looks like. She's going shopping today to find a new tea pot for H at her house. Hers no longer whistles. :/

She use to do this until C (her dead husband) got sick. She stopped getting out as much. Now all she does is shop.

I worked at Bed Bath and Beyond in college. There were a lot of gadgets I thought I HAD to have. Now I've tossed most of them because I just don't have the space (I'm looking at YOU Magic Bullet.)

I don't think you are supposed to store the 2 together though, something about gases emitted.  Maybe I'm making it up, but I'd take something like this.

I have the off brand magic bullet and I made a smoothie today, but I don't think I've used it since that time I made the lasagna that failed (which was months ago).
