1) What is your status with regards to TTC? TTC since Jan 2012, on bcp for IVF 1.2 now.
2) Anything coming up this week? Repeat sono on Wednesday.
3) For some of us (sorry @gumby) spring might be finally making an appearance - what summer plans do you have? Any concerts, weekends away
There is a 5K that I always do in June and the same day there is a big music festival that DH and I always go to. It is the best weekend of the summer and we always look forward to it. Of course, if everything goes well, my ER would be that day so I may not may not be able to go which will be bittersweet. I signed up for the 5K anyway just in case I can do it.
1) What is your status with regards to TTC? TTC since Oct 2010, with two breaks in between. First cycle on clomid.
2) Anything coming up this week? CD10. I had my bloodwork and ultra sound yesterday and will go in for another monitoring appointment tomorrow.
3) For some of us (sorry @gumby) spring might be finally making an appearance - what summer plans do you have? Any concerts, weekends away? A week at the beach visiting BIL in June, and a weekend visit to Williamsburg.
1. TTC since Dec 2009, First cycle with femara/injectables/iui.
2. IUI tomorrow guys! I'm weirdly excited. Like I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but I can't help it.
3. Thanks for the sympathy @icedgems! My summer plans make this late snow manageable, because I have things to look forward to.
I have races I want to run monthly. And a trip to Utah with my family. And a trip home later. I have a lot to look forward to this summer, excluding the possibility of being pregnant. If that happens it can only get better.

Good luck tomorrow! Be excited! Sometimes you just need let go and be crazy optimistic for a few minutes (at least that's what I tell myself about my IUI this cycle).

1. CD 20ish. Cycle one billion.
2. Nothing this week.
3. I am seeing John Mayer in July and Bruno Mars in August. Pretty excited. We are going to the wine country in Oregon in late July. Orlando in late June for an educational conference and some Wizarding World of Harry Potter!
Also - this is terrible and bitchy but I think the "oh my god I'm infertile after two cycles of trying" then BFP the very next month announcements annoy me most of all.

1) What is your status with regards to TTC? TTC since 2010. Right now I'm on BCPs while waiting to start my first IVF cycle.
2) Anything coming up this week? There was supposed to be, but apparently my doc is out of town, so I have an appointment for next Tuesday instead of this one.
3) For some of us (sorry @gumby) spring might be finally making an appearance - what summer plans do you have? Any concerts, weekends away? In August we are going to a Train/The Script concert and I'm very excited for that! For my birthday in June we may drive to Pensacola and visit my BFF who is stationed there with the navy.
1) What is your status with regards to TTC? Not trying, right now. We'll see next month.
2) Anything coming up this week? We're going to an informational meeting with an adoption agency on Thursday.
3) For some of us (sorry @gumby) spring might be finally making an appearance - what summer plans do you have? Any concerts, weekends away? I plan to wear maxi dresses until I turn into one, and have pedicures every week, and wear my sandals every day. I cannot WAIT for spring/summer!

For the first time in a long time, I'm allowing myself to think about how I would tell our family if it happens soon. I gave up wishful thinking like that awhile ago. Its exciting. This is like the first real time we actually have a chance at getting pregnant!
1) What is your status with regards to TTC? Currently CD12. Not doing any treatments this cycle, but hopefully will be doing our first IUI with injectable meds in May.
2) Anything coming up this week? I got blood taken for recurrent m/c bloodwork and my H got blood taken for his genetic testing this morning. We also did the Counsyl screening (more bloodwork). All of the results should be back within 1.5-2 weeks, so now we wait...
3) For some of us (sorry @gumby) spring might be finally making an appearance - what summer plans do you have? Any concerts, weekends away? My mom is retiring this spring, so we are having a big surprise retirement party for her in June. We have lots of family coming in, and I'm already excited for it.
1) What is your status with regards to TTC? This is month 20? CD 29. I think I am in the 2ww, but I haven't been charting
2) Anything coming up this week? Still waiting for my period, so that we can do IUI next cycle. ETA: I forgot that I am going to start acupuncture next week.
3) For some of us (sorry @gumby) spring might be finally making an appearance - what summer plans do you have? Any concerts, weekends away? It was 55 today, but it may snow tomorrow We don't really have any summer plans. H's work schedule is crazy right now (he works 12 days on, 2 days off), so it is hard make any plans. I do think we are going to take a week off to help my mom clean her house (she is a bit of a hoarder). Anyone jealous?
1) What is your status with regards to TTC? TTC since Oct 2011, 10dp IUI #2 (bfn today)
2) Anything coming up this week? My husband's birthday is tomorrow and I would really love to wrap up a positive HPT and give it to him. I'd be ecstatic with a positive any time this week. I know it's so unlikely though, and I'm down after the BFN today, even though I know there's still time.
3) For some of us spring might be finally making an appearance - what summer plans do you have? Any concerts, weekends away? We just had a great spring weekend! It's been about 80 here. We went wine tasting all day Saturday and to a Giants game yesterday. We're going to Vegas in June, a few camping trips, Tahoe in Sept. We'll probably go to the Chocolate festival in SF in Sept too. It's nice here now, but none of you will be jealous when it's regularly over 100 during the summer.
Also - this is terrible and bitchy but I think the "oh my god I'm infertile after two cycles of trying" then BFP the very next month announcements annoy me most of all.

1) CD6
2) DH has the follow-up for his ultrasound Wednesday. Based on a quick convo with the tech, DH is pretty sure he has a varicocele.
2a) Follow up to last week when I was a ball of nerves about seeing the Ob/gyn: she was soooo nice, and totally didn't think I was overreacting about my cycle concerns. She agreed that what I'm experiencing is not typical and could be caused by something (she thinks not endo, but possibly polyps, fibroids, or a couple other options). She also gave me the rundown of what she'll do as an IF workup in a couple of months, but we're starting with a saline sono to see what's going on in the ute.
3) We're going to a couple weddings. Maybe a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Probably some museums; we've been hiking 2-3 times per month but we won't be able to keep that up in the heat of summer.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
1) What is your status with regards to TTC? TTC since June 2012 (posting an update separately)
2) Anything coming up this week? Had a consult appt with my OB/GYN on 4/22
3) For some of us (sorry @gumby) spring might be finally making an appearance - what summer plans do you have? We just planned a 4-day get away down in OCNJ. Wednesday to Saturday so we have Sunday to recuperate, lol. We'll probably do some day trips here & there - we're not far from the shore, so it's possible to get up a Saturday & decide to head down for a few hours.
1) What is your status with regards to TTC? CD 28....another two weeks or so until O and my first IUI.
2) Anything coming up this week? Nothing
3) For some of us (sorry @gumby) spring might be finally making an appearance - what summer plans do you have? Any concerts, weekends away? We have a couple weddings to attend. Beyond that no plans yet.
1. Still planning June IVF 2.0. Same-sex couple; 8 medicated IUIs and 1 IVF resulted in 6 BFN and 2 chemical pregnancies.
2. Started Paleo diet today. Hating it, but hating PCOS induced infertility more.
3. We're going to a B&B on the shore a weekend in May that I am looking forward to.
Hi Kershnic, I also started a high protein diet on Monday. I'm not doing 100% paleo because I am still going to eat beans and lentils but basically everything else. So far I am not finding it too bad. I listened to a podcast from creatingafamily.org that said the idea ratio for IVF is 40% carbs, 30%protein so I am using myfitnesspal to stick to that. I can see that normally my diet is like 90% carbs and very little protein so it's a huge change.

How are you getting along?
I'm not totally convinced I believe in the philosophy of this Paleo thing, but my wife has been interested in the Whole 30 and it seemed like a good kick in the pants to finally reduce carbs and get going on losing some weight. My thought is that after 30 days I'll try to switch to a more normal low/moderate carb diet until IVF. It's not quite as bad as I feared, but I miss a few things a lot...especially milk, oddly enough. But I too usually eat a ridiculous amount of carbs so I'm sure overall it's good for me.
