Babywearers - recs for something that isn't super hot?

Hi ladies, wondering if you can offer some suggestions for me. We're planning a vacation for late May/early June in the midwest, sort of a modified road trip - flying to St. Louis, renting a car and then driving all over creation from there for 2 weeks. 

We'll be doing lots of walking around and sightseeing. I plan on taking an umbrella stroller just in case but I would also love to wear Ellie as much as I can. It just seems like it would be a lot easier a lot of the time (this trip will include a mess of baseball games, for example, and I'd rather not deal with the stroller in baseball stadiums). We have a Beco Gemini that I love but it just seems like in summer weather, it's going to be beastly hot for her and for me. Do you guys have any suggestions for a carrier that might breathe a little better? I can't really afford to spend a ton of money, but if it's something life-changing, I might be able to make it happen. Thanks!

Most people will tell you a Bali Breeze is the way to go. I don't have one, but that is the overwhelming vote when I have seen this Q asked before.
