Does Best Buy sell gift cards for other stores? You could go to BB and use those gift cards to purchase other gift cards for the teachers so you aren't actually spending any more money.

Honestly, as a teacher, I think any GC would be appreciated. Although Target would be ideal, any gift that's not lotion, a candle or homemade baked goods would rank at the top of the list.
DH bought some stuff at Best Buy today. They items came with $15 gift cards to Best Buy.
DH hands them to me and says "give these to the boys' teachers".
I look at them and think, if I got a Best Buy gift card I wouldn't know what to do with it except give it to DH.
I should just give them to DH to use right? and get the teachers gift cards to Target like I was planning.
A GC to Best Buy is better than nothing, but if your DH will use them, I'd give them to him and get Target cards. I get some random GCs every year that I don't use, especially if I can't buy one thing for the amount on the GC.
As a teacher, I can say that Best Buy isn't the first place that comes to mind as a useful GC, but I'm sure I could find something there. Personally, I'd appreciate Target more.

An an MMer, I say use the BB gift cards so you don't have to make another trip or spend more money. But, as a teacher, I say find something else. I would not find a gift card to Best Buy useful at all.
