Full time paid graduate student... I study neurology and hormones in honey bees. I'm ok at research. I kick serious ass at teaching undergrads. I can't wait until I get my PhD so I can do that full time.
I am a vocational counselor for people w/ disabilities. I don't think that I kiss ass - I don't really like people, so counseling wasn't the best choice for a career! However, I have already met my goal for the year (we have a target number of employment outcomes) and our fiscal year doesn't end until 9/30.

Why yes. Yes I do kick ass.
I work in a private college admissions office doing marketing and special events. My events are very well executed and given my previous work experience in private sector marketing/PR/advertising I have a very fast pace and turn around compared to other non-profit people.
applied behavioural psychologist with a touch of engineer thrown in for good measure.
I kick ass because I'm really good at putting myself in someone else's shoes. One of the key things I have to be able to do is separate what I would do from what the average idiot out there would do.
As I like to say "I'm the one out there defending the idiots because, most of the time, what they did was actually more logical than you think."
I'm fairly kick ass. I am a food and beverage manager for a country club. I'm less popular with our membership than my boss, but my staff loves me and frequently asks if I can work shifts with them. I am also very level headed, easy to talk to, and don't have an attitude (most days), which all attribute to why I'm so well liked by my co-workers. Also, our director thinks I'm the bee's knees, so I pretty much have total job security.

Litigation Manager for a nationwide company. I've been kicking super butt lately. Settled two big cases and have garnered some major recognition at the office. *fist pump*

I'm a statistician at a medical school. I just started this job a few months ago and really love it. I don't think I kick ass yet, but I hope to very soon.
I am the director of a program for artists with developmental disabilities. I kickass because I care about my artists, & I am always cultivating new shows & relationships for them.
I'm the Health & Safety supervisor within our HR department. I prefer the Health side of things - helping employees with STD and LTD claims, wellness, etc. I think I'm very good at what I do. I go above and beyond for employees.
Unfortunately, our HR Manager is a dud who shouldn't be in any sort of management position. I typically end of fielding all of the general HR issues that she should be dealing with.
I sell drugs - literally... pharma sales. I'd say I kick ass - my territory is #1 in the country right now for the product we are launching... so I'll take the kick-ass title for now
I am an assistant property manager for ~900 units (single family homes - captured communities). And yes, I do kick ass. So much ass in fact, that the company is trying to sweet talk the property manager and me to take over management of an additional ~400 units.
I work in Learning and Development in our HR department. I've only been working there a little over 3 months, so it may be too soon to kick ass, but I think I have some ass kicking potential. I'm really good with customer service and working with people, which I think makes me ideal for an HR role because I'm answering questions and helping people figure things out constantly. I sometimes wonder if I'm actually too approachable because I find now that I'm in a more visible role, TONS of people stop me in the hallway to chat or ask questions, which I guess is good but makes a quick trip to the restroom difficult to do!
I'm also starting to do some actual training and I think that with more practice I'm going to be kick ass at that too. Right now I'm just decent.
I'm a policy analyst. I analyze policies. LoL. I kick ass at some parts of my job, but not all. I'm much better at it than I was a few years ago. I think I'm best at thinking strategically, and sniffing out bullshit. I'm also pretty good at convincing others and persisting to get what I want.

I'm in research assistant/PhD student for an orthopaedic biomechanics lab. I guess I'm getting kick-ass at presenting. I just won a best poster award at the last conference I was at.
I also won't say what I do because it's identifying, but yes, I'm good at what I do and people tell me I do a great job. I've been doing it a long time and experience is key in my job.
I'm a youth librarian and I'm awesome at my job. My programs are unique and well-attended, my collections circulate at an above average rate, I negotiate all database contracts, I'm the go to person for all youth eBook issues, and I can teach technology to our patrons. My boss told me that in the 30 years she has been on the job the best thing she did for our library was hire me.
I'm an engineer (currently a materials engineer) and I most definitely don't kick ass at it. The learning curve stops being so steep after about 20 years so I only have 18 more to go

I'm a market researcher - and I kick ass at it in general. In my current position I'm not particularly passionate about the products I work on or the customers that I have to research- so I'm not giving it the level of devotion that I have in prior roles. I'll ride it out until something better comes along.
I'm a marketing analytics consultant. I sometimes kick ass. My role has expanded lately which has made it harder to keep up. So I maybe am at a 50% ass kicking run rate right now. Not too bad.

I work in mental health and am a graduate student in social work. My bosses are incredibly supportive and complimentary, so I think that mean I'm kicking add.
I'm a trainer and while people think I kick other peoples' asses into shape, I always clarify that I'm not a personal trainer, but more of a corporate trainer. I spend most of my days training our new hires.
I kick ass at being patient and remaining positive and encouraging. Which is kind of hilarious b/c I'm one of the most impatient people outside of work.
I'm a project manager. I've had a bunch of different roles. I always get good reviews and do well at work - but I'm always confused. I don't think that I'm that great. I think that 90% of being a decent person at work is trying hard, not being a moron, and being respectful of others. I'm doing alright at not being a moron - but I'm having moments of stupidity that are threatening to unravel my charade :-)
I'm an executive director of a non profit organization. I think I kick ass most of the time, but there are some days where it is really challenging. I'm a great fundraiser and relationship builder so that helps a lot with my success.
