Does this dress make me look like a high-class hoo

I am going to a work conference in Las Vegas. There is a big party one evening with everyone in my industry attending. This is a Bailey 44 dress I got - I don't know if it looks okay or not. I had to add a camisole because it is very low cut. I am 5'8" which is why I am worried it might be too short or hooker-like. What do you think? The dress code said resort casual but I'd rather be a bit too dressy than underdressed. My coworker saw a picture of this dress (not me actually in it - a model).

What did the coworker think of the dress? He or she may have a better idea whether its appropriate for that particular conference.

When I hear resort casual, I would think more summer dress than what you have here. Maybe a nicer maxi dress?
