Friday Night Lights

DH and I re-upped our Netflix in anticipation of the return of Arrested Development.  We were looking for something to stream in the mean time and decided to try Friday Night Lights.

We watched like 7 episodes yesterday.  It's really good!  Tell me it stays good and it's worth watching!  I remember hearing good things about the show when it was on, my dance card was already punched with other shows though.  We've always liked the lead since the show "Early Edition" and the coach/wife are so adorable.

I watched the first season on Netflix and enjoyed it. Moved on to season two and there was a story arc that was just awful. I watched that whole arc and it just ruined the show for me. It's done so poorly, IMO and had no point or real impact on the show as a whole. I wound up just searching through episode descriptions for potentially decent episodes, watched a few here and there throughout the series and then the finale and called it done. I do love Riggins, that delicious man.

Good to know - I'm glad for the advice b/c I'd hate to jump ship during season 2. I felt that way about the Hatch season of Lost, hehe.

I just discovered this show too. I just started Season 4 and it's been really good so definitely keep watching.

season 2 has rough moments but the rest of the series is rock solid

i loved season 1. IMO, the show went downhill after that.

by season 4 (at least, i think it's season 4), too much changed, so i was over it.

this is exactly what i did after season 2.

We both loved Friday Night Lights. I really love the relationship between the Coach & his wife, and am a big fan of both those actors in general.

And I've got it BAD for Tim Riggins.

I totally agree with this... keep watching.  It's definitely one of the best shows!

It's one of my favorite shows ever. I could totally do without season 2 though, like others said.
