Then this afternoon I found out a good family friend died of cancer this morning. I am trying to decide if i can or should go back to my parent's for the funeral.

Just talked to my mom they aren't doing a service or anything. It was just so fast he was diagnosed last month, granted it was stage 4 but still a hell of a lot faster than anyone thought.
